Day 04 / Verse 02

Raam doota atulita bala-dhaama

Shri Hanuman is the abode of
Infinite Force,
Shri Rama,
and is His ambassador (raam-doota)

Recap

I cleanse the mirror of my mind
– I manifest my innate strengths and knowledge
– I express my wisdom in my authentic and virtuous attitude and behaviour

I wish to quote a verse from a Hindi poem ( author unknown)

jab mein aayine bechtaa tha
to koi graahak nahin tha
ab mein mukhoutey bechtaa hun
to mujhe fursat nahin hai..

When I used to sell mirrors
I had no takers, no customers,
now, I sell beautiful masks
I have no time for other tasks…
( I have so many customers to buy the masks I sell)!

The whole of Shri Hanuman Chalisa, this sacred hymn of 43 verses, is but a mirror for you. Living Hanuman is a mirror that I am offering! Will there be takers of this mirror? ( I have no masks to sell!).

Verse 02

Just like Shri Hanuman, I am the ambassador of the Supreme Being. Inspired by Him, I imbibe all the qualities of an emissary of Divinity. I ask myself, ” Of what vision of this Conscious Universe have I taken birth in my present life? Of which plans of the universe, my plans are a part of? Of which purpose of this Conspiring Universe, my life’s purpose is interwoven into? How may I gain access to the infinite reservoir of energy which resides in me, as me ( atulit bala-dhaama)?”
