A personal note to all :
It has always been embarrassing for me to ask for my fee. I do so
in utmost humility with down cast eyes. To be an instrument of the
Mother and render service to you is itself a great honor and
privilege. I gather all that is offered to me and place it at the
Mother’s feet to meet the operational expenses of Her temple which
I have founded. Your offerings help me keep this Shrine Of
Universal Love (SOUL) alive.
In the past years, you have all become my personal family and
friends. I continue to serve you to the best of my humble ability.
But it so happens that I am unable to ask for my fee most of the
times. You feel that you made a phone call “just” to ask something
small or “just” to share your difficulty, or just to ask which is
a good day to travel, have a surgery or what should you name your
child or new business or who is a good match to get married. The
connotation of “just” expands to include my entire range of
service offerings! It exceeds that too- I end up writing CVs, web
contents, letters to estranged spouses and much more! Since you
are all my friends, I feel embarrassed to ask for a fee for advice
given and time spent. You too do not feel obliged to pay because I
am your friend! In such a case, being a “friend” works to your
advantage but not so much mine!
I wish I could continue to be of comfort and be your buddy as in
the past. But I find it increasingly difficult to do so, even
impossible, given the sheer number of “friends” I am now blessed
with. You will appreciate that I may not be able to entertain
calls like “ This is 10.30 in the night. I hope you are now free
to talk to me and tell me what to do in case of…..” ! I wish I
would if I could, but since I can’t, I won’t!
Please pardon me for distancing myself by putting a filter in form
of my office- assistant. I promise you, I will be able to serve
you better, more promptly. Secondly, for every service rendered, I
expect a fee to be paid as mentioned in the above section. Fee
should be paid ideally in advance through PayPal or by means of a
deposit through cash/ cheque/ bank transfer. As mentioned earlier,
what you pay helps me serve a high purpose.
